Here is my early attempt at motor racing photography at the Palace. 1968 Formula 2 meeting and Jacky Ickx had just come out of the paddock for practice when I took this photo with an old Kodak camera. It was the first time I had seen a works Ferrari and I remember how impressed I was with the scarlet car with gold wheels and the electric blue of Ickx's helmet. Pity I took a black and white photo!!
